Cooley GO Public turns the first draft for an initial public offering into a defined AI product. Launched on 17 September 2026, it was developed by the law firm’s capital-markets lawyers and legal engineers for use with ChatGPT Enterprise.[1]
Form S-1 is a US securities-registration statement. Its prospectus requirements include a description of the company, risk factors, intended use of proceeds and financial statements: disclosures about the business and the money it is raising.[3]
The system combines company-specific information and research with Cooley’s own drafting guidance, instructions and selected precedents. Cooley says it can prepare an initial S-1 draft in minutes rather than days, then update it as transaction terms change. Lawyers remain involved in the legal analysis and final document.[1]
The product sits inside Cooley AI, the firm’s AI services company, which brings together legal, product, data, engineering and operational expertise. Its first deliverable is a reusable drafting process built around the firm’s knowledge. Cooley plans to extend the operation to private companies, funds and mergers and acquisitions.[1][2]
