Perfect’s shareholders approve its move towards private ownership

The YouCam developer reported almost unanimous support among votes cast. Its two share classes explain why that is a different measure from shares represented.

Perfect Corp shareholders approved its proposed merger with ProjectNY on 19 October 2026. The buyer is controlled by Alice H. Chang, Perfect’s chairwoman and chief executive.[1][2]

Perfect supplies AI beauty and augmented reality tools, including YouCam consumer apps and virtual product try-ons for retailers.[1]

The 10 July agreement provides US$2 cash for each eligible share cancelled. Continuing holders retain their shares; dissenting and excluded shares have separate treatment. The August proxy recorded those continuing shareholders with 81.2% of voting power already pledged to support the deal.[3]
